Visually light and well-balanced, with a timeless design, Hiroi Lounge relies on two simple yet highly refined materials: leather and wood. In fact, this comfortable and compact armchair features a structure in bleached or stained solid ash wood with a seat & back rest internally upholstered in saddle leather.
Both born in Prague in the 90s, Matej Jansky & Cyril Dundera first met there as Furniture Studio classmates at Arts and Crafts Secondary school at the age of 16 - their collaboration started immediately since then. The duo studied Architecture at the CTU Prague and Furniture & Interior Design at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, and at the Konstfack in Stockholm. Their professional career started at the Swedish Claesson Koivisto Rune studio and, thanks to collaboration with Rossana Orlandi and exhibiting at the Salone del Mobile in Milan, a strong connection to the world of Italian design was built. The Studio now collaborates with a wide variety of brands emphasized in excellent craftsmanship from glassmaking to fashion.
Perimeter stitching tone on tone, edge painted to correspond with leather color choice. Marrone Opaco & Nero have black painted edge, all others have tone on tone painted edge.
