Kay Bojesen was passionate about anything that brings joy to children and childlike spirits. Back in 1952, he created his friendly Ursula Bear inspired by a young bear, which a keeper from Copenhagen Zoo and his wife were looking after in their home.
More than 65 years later, in April 2019 the beautiful Panda was launched to celebrate Copenhagen Zoo’s new, ground-breaking Panda House.
The Panda is made of painted FSC®-certified beech, and is available in two sizes: Small and Medium.
