The CH47 chair was designed by Hans J. Wegner’s in 1965 and is a perfect example of his desire for simplicity, function and beauty in all his designs.
The CH47 chair uses expert craftsmanship and quality, natural materials that highlight the inspiration Wegner drew from the Shaker movement. Its lightly reclined composition gives its overall form a dynamic, yet graceful, expression. The sculptural back design, together with the hand-woven, paper-cord seat, ensure comfortable sitting.
The CH47 chair’s considered design, together with warm, natural materials used in its creation, ensure a chair that is perfect for a variety of spaces and functions, from dining rooms to entrance hallways and conference rooms. The chair is also available in the CH46 version with armrests.
