The chair, designed by Italian designer Mario Bellini, received the Compasso d’Oro ADI in the furniture category.In presenting The Bellini Chair with the top honor, The Italian Association of Industrial Designers said, “Comfortable, easy on the eye, and offering value for money, this chair is the outcome of an ongoing search harnessing premier design skills.
